WARBRINGER: New Studio Footage Posted Online

The first in a series of webisodes featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the third album from Los Angeles thrashers WARBRINGER can be viewed below. The band will enter the studio later this month to begin recording the CD for a late 2011 release via Century Media Records.

WARBRINGER recently announced the addition of drummer Carlos Cruz (HEXEN) to the group's ranks.

Carlos made his live debut with WARBRINGER in Mexico City on March 5 at the Eyescream Festival alongside ASESINO, ANVIL, TOXIC HOLOCAUST and ABIGAIL WILLIAMS.

"Waking Into Nightmares", the sophomore album from WARBRINGER, sold around 2,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD landed at position No. 14 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Waking Into Nightmares" was released on May 19, 2009 via Century Media Records. The CD was mixed by Zack Ohren (SUFFOCATION, ALL SHALL PERISH) and the cover artwork was created by esteemed artist Dan Seagrave (MORBID ANGEL, ENTOMBED).

WARBRINGER's latest album was recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California with axeman/producer Gary Holt (EXODUS).
